Bogotá's iconic sites and streets will be illuminated for residents and visitors to enjoy by taking the Christmas lighting tour.
The Christmas route comprises a total of 14 kilometers of roads and 150,000 m2 of squares and parks that will be illuminated for the enjoyment of Bogotá's residents and tourists.
In the downtown area, Enel-Codensa and the Bogotá City Hall have provided 17 points for the tour of the traditional Christmas route, which start out in Parque Nacional and end in Palacio de Liévano.
In the southern area, the Christmas lights will take over the plaza of El Tunal park, the pedestrian circuit of this park, and the entrance of El Tunal park and the TransMiCable, among others.
In the western area of the city, ten representative sites will be illuminated, including the slope of the Virgilio Barco Library, the neuralgic points of Simón Bolivar Park and the Bogotá City Council.
In turn, in the northern area of the capital, Bogotá's residents will be able to tour the lighting of the T-Zone, León de Greiff Park, the plazas of the Virrey Park, Calle 90 and Calle 96, as well as the Usaquén Park, among the 12 points that will be illuminated during the season.
Enel-Codensa has been working with the Bogotá City Hall for 12 years to deliver a Christmas full of lights and joy to more than 4 million residents and visitors who tour the Christmas lighting.
