Whenever you need to request the installation of meters and metering groups, follow these steps:
In Bogotá:
By phone:
For the installation of meters and metering groups, you can request an appointment (date and time) through the Customer Service Line 5801000 option 2.
For projects in Bogotá and Sabana:
Submit the authorization form for meter charges signed by the owner of the project along with the work receipt folder. Download the document at the end of this article.
- Once your project has been reviewed and accepted, we will automatically generate the meter installation order.
- A team will install the meters and provide the commercial offer on-site.
- After the installation, you can make the payment for the meters.
The meters will be installed within five business days after meeting the following requirements:
- Project related to technical-document approval.
- Meters provided by the customer available at CAM.
- Meters purchased from Enel Colombia paid for.
The metering groups will be installed once the following requirements have been met:
- Project related to technical-document approval.
- Metering group provided by the customer available at CAM.
- Metering group purchased from Enel Colombia paid for.
- The project must be powered by Enel Colombia.
Purchase of meters and metering groups from Enel Colombia.
The energy meters and metering groups sold by Enel Colombia are duly certified, calibrated and have a 3-year warranty, and are supplied ready for installation at competitive market prices. Leave the supply and installation of your project's energy metering system in Enel Colombia's hands and concentrate on construction.
Purchase of meters and metering groups from individuals
The meters must comply with the regulatory requirements, therefore you must take into account the following steps:
- Purchase the meters.
- Request the preparation of the seals and installation (Enel Colombia's technical and document approval of the associated work is required).
- Collect the invoice at the service centers: Suba, Calle 80, San Diego, Venecia, Zipaquirá, Madrid, Chía, Kennedy, Restrepo, Galerías; and at the Cades: Cade Plaza de las Américas, Supercade Américas, Supercade catastro, Cade Santa Lucía, Cade Chico.
- Pay the corresponding invoice amount.
- Deliver the meters to CAM (Av. Cr. 68 N°5-21 Tel.: 4173000) for inspection and readiness. CAM will provide you with a service order number.
Metering groups must comply with regulations and certifications:
- Purchase the metering group with the supplier of your choice.
- Request the preparation of the inspection and installation invoice.
- Collect the invoice at the service centers: Suba, Calle 80, San Diego, Venecia, Zipaquirá, Madrid, Chía, Kennedy, Restrepo, Galerías; y los Cades: Cade Plaza de las Américas, Supercade Américas, Supercade catastro, Cade Santa Lucía, Cade Hábitat, Cade Chico.
- Deliver the metering group to CAM for parameterization and/or calibration.
- The corresponding amount will be charged to your account after the equipment is installed.
In other municipalities of Cundinamarca:
- An advisor will contact you once your project has technical-document approval and Enel Colombia has scheduled the activation of the service.
- Alternatively, you can approach directly and schedule the installation. Consult the nearest office here.
