The Risk Control and Management Policy is the set of decisions that the company makes to determine what is the acceptable framework for the levels of risk inherent in its activity, within which the ordinary course of business must be circumscribed, as well as the appropriate measures for the proper management, monitoring and control of such risks.
The Risk Control and Management Policy adopted by the Company aims to:
- Establish the risk control and management model, defining the mission of the bodies related to the model and the powers assigned for the entire business group of the Company in terms of risk. Regulate the Company’s risk control and management model and identify the main duties to be performed in each of them.
- Regulate the Company's risk control and management model and identify the main functions to be performed in each of them.
- The set of actions and measures adopted by Enel Colombia in the execution of the Risk Control and Management Policy is based on the guidelines of the Enel Group Risk Control and Management System.
- Risk control is the responsibility of the Risk Control Area and has the purpose of defining the Company’s risk control structure and processes.
- The Risk Control Area is responsible for detecting, quantifying, monitoring and informing the relevant risks to which the Company is exposed to the Audit Committee through the Risk Map.
