He is currently the Vice President of Legal and Compliance of Grupo Energía Bogotá. Lawyer from Universidad Externado de Colombia, specialized in Banking and with specialization studies in commercial law. He has more than thirty years of experience in the public and private sectors, with extensive experience in the financing and structuring of infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships, as well as in the areas of corporate, financial and public securities market law. He was Legal Vice-President of Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional, advisor to the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the National Planning Department and Invias, legal advisor to the Superintendent of Securities, head of the Legal Office of the Superintendency of Securities and head of the Banking Legal Area of the Banking Superintendency, among others. The emphasis of his professional activity has been focused on corporate matters, the public securities market and advice on issues related to financial legislation, contracts and the state contracting regime and private sector participation in infrastructure. Before joining FDN, he practiced law independently for a long period of time. He is also a member of the A list of arbitrators of the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce. He has been a professor at the Universidad de Los Andes, Universidad Externado and Universidad Javeriana in securities markets. Member of different boards of directors.
