She has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes with an option in Business Administration from the same university. She has been a scholarship holder of the Carolina Foundation in the Specialization in Business Administration in companies of the energy sector, Specialist in Economics graduated with honors from La Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and graduated Cum Laude in Management MBA and Executive Master in Administration and Management Skills from EADA and CENTRUM; She has also taken Management and Leadership courses at SDA Bocconi University in Italy, the Spanish Energy Club and IESE University in Spain, as well as Strategy courses at Harvard University and a course on Women on Boards of Directors at CESA.
She has worked as a professional and manager in energy at national and international companies, she has been Business Development Manager of the Enel Group companies in Colombia and advisor to the CREG; she has also been principal or alternate member of different Boards of Directors of companies and industry associations and currently serves as Manager of Regulation, Institutional Relations and Environment of the Enel Group in Colombia and Central America.
