To meet the ever-growing demand for energy, we have designed a project that will meet all of the safety and environmental guidelines: the North Substation.
The project consists of the design, assembly and commissioning of a 230/115 kV electrical substation, with an installed initial capacity of 600 MVA, as well as the construction and commissioning of the 115 kV regional transformation circuits, which will allow to connect the future Norte Substation, with the Gran Sabana, Sesquilé, Zipaquirá and Ubaté substations, operated by Enel Colombia S.A. ESP.
The North substation will have an installed capacity of 600 MVA, to meet the demand for energy in the area.
What are the benefits?
- Guarantee the reliability and continuity of the electrical system.
- Increase the capacity to operate the Distribution System.
- Contribute with the development of Bogota and the north of Cundinamarca.
Project Progress
Our advances have been significant. After planning and design, we have arrived at the environmental impact study, in which through a technical evaluation, we identify the environmental and social aspects of the project. This has allowed us to define the management measures to prevent and/or compensate them.
