Our main objective is for those who work in Enel Group companies in Colombia to be able to say, with complete certainty, that they are in a place that cares for their well-being, and for providing a series of benefits focused on ensuring them and their families a better quality of life, and in this way we approach their particular needs according to the stage in life they find themselves in.
That is why we decided to implement multiple practices within our companies that allow our employees to work, without compromising the enjoyment of their personal lives. We started by creating a work environment that offers the possibility of a work- family balance through several programs:
- Work remotely and have flexible hours
- Maternity and postnatal leave for mothers and fathers
- Days off on important occasions to share as a family (birthdays, their child’s first day of school or graduation day).
- Professional guidance programs for our workers children.
- Extra-work activities designed to unite the families who are part of this organization.
Giving the scope to this commitment, in 2013 the Enel Group companies in Colombia received the Responsible Family Company certificate, which was ratified on 2015. Having these certifications commits us even more towards guaranteeing our workers a comfortable feeling with their working conditions, and give them the possibility of bringing happiness to the one main source of energy in their lives: family.
