We are committed to providing quality service to our clients, that is why during 2017, we developed a series of actions that allowed us to work in a structural and determined manner to decrease the average number of interruptions suffered by our clients by 11.7% and by 15.5% for their duration. Our main focus was oriented towards the redesigning the network, automation and modernizing the substations, among others.
In order to continue improving the SAIDI (interruption duration time) and SAIFI (Frequency in which an interruption occurs) service quality indicators, we redirected our investments towards strengthening the electrical infrastructure and quality in energy supply, encouraging the use of new technologies, increasing remote control equipment and remodeling and reinforcement of network’s structure.
With the 2020 investment plan, we projected a reduction of 13% in the number of interruptions, as well as a 31% reduction in their duration.
